Introduction|The Hazard Communication Rule|Hazard Labels|Shipping Labels|Workplace Labels|SDSs|Summary
Course Description
The Hazard Communication (HazCom) Rule states employees have a right to understand the chemical hazards in their workplace. Included in this rule is the Hazard Communication Plan, which must follow the Global Harmonization System (GHS). This training course outlines the different parts of a HazCom plan that a standard employer would implement, such as hazard labels, shipping labels, workplace labels, and safety data sheets (SDSs). By viewing this course, workers gain a better understanding of how potentially dangerous it is to work with hazardous chemicals, and the precautions they must take. Employers do not want you to suffer from injury on the job and this course enforces the importance of HazCom.
