Course Description
Five million people a year have experienced work related non-fatal injuries, illness, or accidents. This course features four individuals who have experienced or witnessed a workplace accident. The course discusses why it so important to practice workplace safety. The personal accounts highlighted in the course are cautionary tales of what can happen when workplace safety rules are ignored or not taken seriously. Complacency and not wearing personal protective equipment are two factors contributing to workplace accidents. After viewing this video learners will come away with a better understanding of why it is important to apply safe work practices on the job.
