Course Description

The course discusses the obligation employers have to their employees to provide and instruct their employees on personal protective equipment (PPE). This PPE may be necessary should engineering, work practices or administrative controls prove ineffective in preventing a hazard to any part of an employee’s body from occurring. The course discusses various types of personal protective equipment a construction worker may need, including head, ear, eye, foot, hand and body protection. Utilize this course in order to provide a foundational understanding regarding these protective measures and to ensure a safe, smart and comfortable working environment at your construction site.
