Course Description
Working in an office may not appear to be a dangerous job; however, if desks and equipment are not tailored for individual use, injuries can occur. Items like desks, chairs, and keyboards don’t fit everyone in the same way. This course discusses reasons, strategies, and tips for preventing ergonomic injuries or muscular-skeletal disorders (MSDs). In this course, workers will learn how to make small but meaningful adjustments to their office equipment. Workers will understand how proper office ergonomics can help prevent and eliminate common ailments like back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendonitis. This training course also demonstrates stretches and other tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle both at work and outside of the office.
