Course Description
Even seemingly common substances, like cleaners, are toxic hazardous materials. This training video shows workers how to properly use those substances to avoid accidents, personal injury or even death. With a step-by-step training video, workers learn how the proper and safe use of hazardous materials starts with familiarization with Material Safety Data Sheets, container labels and a company’s hazard communication program. Along with understanding hazardous chemicals, the video addresses proper safety equipment and storage of materials as an integral part of a safe workplace. If an accident occurs, the program shows how to handle exposure situations such as ingestion, inhalation, exposure to eyes, and splashes and spills as the last line of defense for a safe work site. Use this training to ensure your employees take the proper safety precautions when working with any hazardous substance.
