Course Description
According to the National Safety Council, at least 23% of all vehicle accidents, or 1.3 million annually, are caused by cell phone use. This safety training course features Jacy Good, a young woman who suffers from brain damage, physical handicaps, and lost both parents as a result of an accident caused by a driver who was talking on his cell phone. Jacy and her boyfriend Steve Johnson relate not only how the accident has affected them but also how it has impacted the lives of over a thousand other people. Jacy and Steve explain why it’s crucial to not only have laws against cell phone use while driving but why there needs to be a cultural change in the way we view texting and talking on the phone while driving. Watch this video to see why it’s so important to refrain from using your cell phone while driving, and learn how to speak up and stop other drivers from using theirs.
