About 1 out of 10 workers in the United States has a substance abuse problem. Compared to typical employees, substance abusers have 3 times as many accidents and injuries, use twice the amount of medical benefits, and file twice the number of compensation claims. This health and safety training video explains the important role managers and supervisors have in keeping their workplace alcohol and drug free. This course shows how to recognize and handle on-the-job substance abuse. This training video also explains the roles of education and drug testing, and shows how having company policies and procedures helps to create a drug and alcohol free workplace.
