Course Description
OSHA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the EPA all have their own definitions of hazardous chemicals; however, all three organizations agree these wastes can cause serious injury or death. According to HAZWOPER, your work site is required to establish and maintain a site safety and health plan, emergency response plan, and programs to keep workers healthy and safe. This refresher course discusses how to recognize hazardous wastes and how to protect workers from these wastes with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Your employees are reminded of the importance of site control programs, medical surveillance programs, and standard operating procedures put in place by HAZWOPER. By viewing this online training course, your HAZMAT workers will understand how to keep themselves and others safe at their work site by strictly adhering to OSHA’s regulations.
