What a year it’s been! At Digitec Interactive we’ve been busy forming new partnerships, enhancing our technology, offering new solutions, and winning awards. We’re excited to see what the new year will bring. What new technologies will emerge in eLearning? What new trends will be important to association leaders? What can we do to make our products and services even better? This is our 2015 year-end review.As a company, we consistently strive to transform learning to change lives. This is the driving force behind everything we do. So what have we done this year?
In 2015 we released the Knowledge Direct 7 Beta. The Knowledge Direct 7 learning management platform, is a major upgrade of the company’s flagship learning management system (LMS).
In addition to new social learning features, Knowledge Direct 7 features a mobile-first responsive design and is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Knowledge Direct 7 goes beyond traditional LMS functionality to provide advanced customization and configuration flexibility.
The rave reviews are already coming in from Knowledge Direct 7’s beta clients. “Digitec and the Knowledge Direct LMS has helped our association provide a wonderful learning experience to our members,” says Veronica Hunt of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. “With KD7’s new discussion boards, ease of access and uploading, and greater mobile connectivity, we believe our members and associates will have an even greater learning experience than before. The added convenience and simplicity allows our association to go the extra mile for our members seeking continuing education. ”
Additionally, Digitec began offering our award-winning learning management solution for $599 a month, with no start-up fees and no contract. We call it Knowledge Direct NOW. Knowledge Direct NOW includes:

- Up to 250 active users
- Ecommerce
- 1-800 telephone and email admin support
- Quick implementation
Customizations and integrations are not included.
This year Digitec was selected by the Orlando Business Journal as one of fastest-growing companies in Central Florida! For the second year in a row, Digitec Interactive has been named a Gamification Company to Watch by Training Industry.
Inclusion on this year’s Gamification Companies Watch List was based on the following criteria: features and capabilities of the gamification products/services, company size and growth potential, quality and number of clients/users, geographic reach, awards, recognition, and competitive differentiation.
This month we won the Gold Pixie award from the American Pixel Academy for Gen i Revolution. Christopher Caltabiano, Chief Program Officer for the Council of Economic Education has experienced Digitec Interactive’s commitment to the future of learning through game-based learning with the creation of Gen i Revolution, an interactive learning game that teaches personal finance skills to middle and high school students. He states, “We had a great experience working with Digitec on Gen i Revolution. They were very creative but never forgot about learning objectives. They helped us make a game that is both educational and fun.”
